TimeBudget
Give each app a daily time budget and watch it count down as you use it.
How it works
- You set the time.Pick an app, give it a daily amount. Ten seconds.
- Using it spends the time. The number goes down while the app is on screen — not while it sits in the background.
- At zero it stops.A gentle reminder, or a full-screen one you have to walk past. Your choice, per app.
What else it does
- Group several apps into one shared budget — 45 minutes across all your social apps, however you split it.
- Different amounts on different days, because weekends aren't Tuesdays.
- A quiet notification with today's remaining time, so you rarely need to open the app at all.
- Planned versus actual, week by week — described, never graded.
- A home screen widget, dark mode, and 24 languages including full right-to-left support.
Your data
How you use your apps is sensitive information, so TimeBudget keeps it on your phone. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server storing your usage. The app needs Android's usage access permission to measure screen time at all — that is what the numbers are computed from, and it never leaves the device. Read the full privacy policy.
